Margaret Therrell

Born Again: During a revival

Place: In a church in Milan, Tennessee

Age: Teenage

My Testimony

I went to Sunday School and Church at Milan, Tennessee. When I was a teenage girl, I was saved during a revival. I was real happy. We moved to Peoria, Illinois, in 1947. We lived in Peoria and the Peoria area for thirty-two years. I attended Church regularly and enjoyed my years as a Christian. In 1980 we moved back here and I joined Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. I have been happy with the Church here. I feel when I die I will go to Heaven.

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." [I Peter 3:15]

Margaret, her husband Wilson Therrell, and her mother Vallie Barrett were members for many years; however, Margaret's health did not permitted her to attend as much as she would like. Her gentle nature endeared her to her friends at HMBC. Margaret went to be with the Lord on October 4, 1998.
