Her Testimony
I was saved in August of 1934. I was thirteen (13) years old.
My mother used to read the Bible to us, Sue, Louise, Virgil, (my
sisters and brother) and me. It helped to bring conviction to my heart. The
story of Lazarus and the rich man always stayed with me.
I was saved during a revival in a Methodist Church. Sue and I were
saved the same night. Four years later, I joined a Missionary Baptist Church. The Church has been such a strength to me. I have had peace in my
heart for all these years and my salvation gets more precious as I get older.
